News Willmott Dixon Ecology Partnership

Willmott Dixon has signed a collaborative agreement with the Wildlife Trusts that will see the charity’s experts providing ecology advice on the company’s projects around the country.

Local ecologists from the Wildlife Trusts’ network of consultancies will work with the contractor to ensure its projects enhance biodiversity and leave a positive legacy afterwards.

John Frankiewicz, divisional chief executive of Willmott Dixon Capital Works, said: “We’ll use this expertise on all new build, brownfield and refurbishment work, in areas like carrying out habitat and protected species surveys, providing mitigation advice, support for habitat creation, guidance for the assessment of Code for Sustainable Homes and the ecology of BREEAM, plus ecology elements of environmental impact assessments.”
