Builders can now keep on top of material price hikes thanks to updated estimating software from UK developer HBXL.
The Bristol-based software company says the new edition of EstimatorXpress 2017, which is due for release in September, will help construction workers ensure any inflationary pressure on their profit margin is accounted for.
Boasting 12,000 users across the country, HBXL say the software has revolutionised the way builders operate and has been proven to help them win 230 per cent more business and slash estimating time by more than 60 per cent.
The latest edition has now been upgraded enabling users to access estimates faster and is expected to reduce the time it takes to put quotes together, explains Joanna Mulgrew, product development director at HBXL.
“The new release is packed with a host of new improvements that have been designed to help builders keep on top of the increase in business while becoming more competitive and profitable.”
One of the main new features in the upgraded version of the software is an estimating ‘ribbon’ which improves productivity and helps the average user create professional estimates faster.
Mulgrew added: “At HBXL we’re constantly looking at ways to evolve, improve and update our products and is testimony to the company’s ethos to continually assess how it can help builders work better.
“The new edition has been developed in line with what our customers have asked for and means it is by far the most user-friendly yet.
“Technology can help builders do things better, cheaper and faster and our software is no exception.”
