Professional Concrete Pumping has won a two-year sole supplier contract with Skanska that will see it work on the £191m project to improved junction 19 on the M1.
The company, formerly Pochins, will supply mobile and static pumps for the project, which is due to open to traffic in the autumn of 2016.
He said: “This will see our mobile fleet grow by more than 25% by August this year and more than quadruple our static and placing boom capacity. This looks set to be a record-breaking year for us and many of our suppliers and customers.”
Prime minister David Cameron and chancellor of the exchequer George Osborne visited the junction 19 site earlier this month to reinforce the government’s commitment to investing in highwayimprovements.
