News Plans 127 Home Scheme Hounslow Given Green Light

Plans to transform the site of a former commercial building in Hounslow, west London, into over 120 new homes have been given the go-ahead.

Developer A2Dominion was granted planning consent by Hounslow Borough Council on 3 September 2015 to redevelop the long-vacant site on Bell Road, off the town’s High Street.

A2Dominion, which purchased the site in June 2014, will deliver 127 one, two and three-bedroom homes for sale and rent, including 13 properties for wheelchair users.

The scheme also includes 1,127sqm of flexible commercial space and over 250 bicycle parking bays.

Work is due to start on site in spring 2016, with the development set for completion in summer 2018.

Karen Green, A2Dominion’s assistant development director, said: “The redevelopment of this vacant site in Hounslow supports our on-going regeneration of the area.

“The scheme will include homes for private sale, private rent and shared ownership, which will be available through our FABRICA by A2Dominion brand.”

The 127-home Bell Road scheme is one of four current A2Dominion developments in Hounslow which are providing a total of 470 new homes in the borough.

This includes 155 homes at a site on London Road in Hounslow, 101 homes at Hounslow Quarter on the town’s High Street, 61 properties on the former Alfa Laval site on Ealing Road, and 26 homes on Pears Road.
