News Interface Supports Virtual Trade Show

Carpet tile manufacturer Interface is putting its support behind what claims to be Europe’s first ever virtual trade show for construction, by running a webinar at the event.

Construction21Expo, which starts tomorrow and runs for two days, aims to reduce the need for construction professionals to travel to major trade events by allowing them to visit booths, attend seminars and speak to other visitors and exhibitors via a chat function and Skype.

Along with showcasing its latest products and a report it has commissioned into the business benefits of sustainability, the company will be running two online events.

Sustainability director Ramon Arratia will be hosting a live discussion at 4pm CET tomorrow on sustainable trends in interior and exterior design, while a webinar by Melissa Vernon, director of sustainability strategy at Interface Americas, will be available throughout the event.

Arratia said: “Interface continues to push boundaries when it comes to reducing the environmental impact of its processes, and as such, we are really pleased to have the chance to support a virtual exhibition that could change the landscape of events in the construction industry.”
