News Graham Heath Construction Chosen Build Eddie Stobart Biomass Project

Graham Heath Construction has been selected to build an industrial biomass boiler-housing unit in Widnes for logistics giants Eddie Stobart.

Having been invited to tender for the 1000m sq project for the environmentally focused haulage firm, the Cheshire-based construction company fought off stiff competition to win the bid.

Building work will now start on the large-scale industrial unit which will house the new biomass-boiler and woodchip store.

Eddie Stobart is committed to improving its carbon footprint, recently winning an environment award and rolling out energy efficiency projects for its group buildings throughout the UK.

Graham Heath Construction founder, Graham Heath, said: “We are extremely pleased to be selected by arguably one of the UK’s biggest and most successful businesses, to create an industrial unit that is helping them to build a better Britain from an environmental perspective.

“We believe this is down to our experience, reputation, quality product and competitive price and we will now be going out of our way to ensure that we carry the job out to the very best of our ability.”
