This year the UK’s brightest construction awards ceremony – the Builder & Engineer Awards – celebrates its tenth anniversary.
Of course, a huge amount has happened in those ten years, not least a global recession and, in the UK, a significant cut in the kind of public sector funding that back then was the catalyst for a whole range of major projects.
But that doesn’t mean that the construction industry across the whole of the UK doesn’t have great achievements to recognise and much to celebrate.
After all, we still managed to put together a dazzling Olympic Park for the world to see last year, and now other major projects including Crossrail and the Glasgow Commonwealth Games are just on the horizon.
The event will be held on the 7th November 2013 at The Point at Emirates Old Trafford
