Maureen Watt, Minister for Schools and Skills has officially opened the new £3.8m National Construction College Scotland (NCCS) and ConstructionSkills Scotland’s headquarters at Inchinnan, Glasgow.
The NCCS will provide state of the art facilities and training for up to 160 apprentices and 6,000 adult learners every year. ConstructionSkills, parent organisation of the college, will direct its Scottish strategy from the new HQ. It will continue to offer apprenticeship and advisory services to schools, colleges and businesses as well as providing training grants. |
