| Report identifies hydro sites in Scotland |

There are around 36,252 sites in Scotland that are suitable for hydro dams, according to a new study.
The study published by the Scottish government found that there are 657 Megawatts of financially viable hydro electricity schemes to exploit which would power around 600,000 homes. The Scottish Government is currently considering 10 hydro applications. |
