The £72m velodrome and stadium designed for the 2014 Commonwealth Games have been given planning consent by Glasgow City Council.
The flagship scheme includes the 5000-capacity National Indoor Sports Arena (NISA) and 2000-seat cycling venue, designed by 3D Reid and Sports Concepts. The scheme also includes a community sports hall, offices, a café, four outdoor sports pitches, car parking and an 1km outdoor cycling track. |
