Southampton City Council have given consent to a batch of planning applications to redevelop the city's Woolston riverside site.

The Centenary Quay, Woolston Riverside project is being developed by The South East England Development Agency (SEEDA), boatbuilder Palmer Johnson and Crest Nicholson Regeneration.

The development will bring a mixed-use community to Woolston, with high quality homes, community facilities and commercial buildings.

Debbie Aplin, managing director of Crest Nicholson Regeneration, said:

"The mix of uses will create a vibrant riverside location that will reflect the riverside heritage and be a destination that people will want to visit.”
