Norwich gets £122m regeneration package E-mail

Norwich City Council has approved a £122m scheme that will regenerate deprived areas of Norwich. 

Developer Tragetfellow will regenerate deprived areas of Norwich by turning the former Bally Shoes factory and the T Gill and Sons site on Hall Road into a leisure centre, shops, restaurants, cafes and a food store.

A 10,000 square foot Community Art Centre, that will provide facilities and exhibition space for local artists was also is also planned along with a hotel, some residential space and office accommodation.

Work is due to start on site early next year with completion expected by the end of 2010.
