A joint venture between private equity firm The Carlyle Group and Abstract Nikal has acquired an 8.4 acre site within the Media City development in Salford.
A £30m regeneration and redevelopment programme is planned including offices, a data centre, and a hotel. The site was originally used by Colgate for toothpaste production. It is one of the largest sites available in Media City, an area of Salford Quays into which the BBC has announced its is to relocate thousands of staff |
