Wednesday, 20 May 2009
Harlow Council and developer Stockland have signed a deal which will see a 1.3m sq ft mixed-use scheme built in Harlow town centre.

The development agreement will enable designs to be brought forward ahead of a planning application to be submitted in 2010.

The scheme in the Essex town centre will include 500 new homes, retail space, including a department store and foodstore, restaurants, a hotel, offices, a new library and a new bus station.

Subject to planning permission the new development is expected to open in phases from late 2012.
