The Olympic Delivery Authority has announced that Heneghan Peng Architects, with Adams Kara Taylor Engineers, has won the competition to design one of the key footbridges in the centre of the Olympic Park.Over 46 practices submitted designs.

Plans to expand of Bristol Airport have been delayed to allow more research into the environment effects of the development. The airport was expected to submit a planning application to North Somerset Council in the next month, but now hope this will happen by the middle of 2008.
