The Government’s new immigration scheme will seriously threaten building work at the Olympics, according to the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC).

SUEZ Group, through its subsidiary Elyo, has been selected as preferred bidder for the Energy Centre and Community Energy Networks for the Olympic Park and Stratford City development in east London.

Nearly half of the buildings on the site of the London 2012 Olympic Stadium have now been demolished.
