Four groups have been short listed by the Olympic Delivery Authority to design and deliver the International Broadcast Centre and Main Press Centre for the 2012 games.
The four are: Babcock & Brown and Balfour Beatty; Bouyges and Development Securities; Carillion and Igloo, and Rosemound and Norwest Holst The broadcast and press centre will provide 24-hour facilities for 25,000 media personnel during the games, with 120,000sq m of office space then created to form part of the so-called Olympic legacy.
The plans also include a 1,300-space multistorey car park, and a car park. |
