London's 2012 Olympic stadium could be demolished once the games are complete, with a premiership football stadium built in its place.

According to reports, the London Development Agency (LDA) is reported to be considering the plans amid fears the £525m stadium could be too expensive to subsidise after the event.

However it is thought the favoured plan is to remove 55,000 seats from the stadium to turn it into a 25,000-capacity athletics venue.
