Highways management company Aone+ has won a £158m contract to manage motorways in the North West of England.
The Highways Agency today said it has awarded Aone+, the contract for the day-to-day management of the motorways and strategic roads in Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside and parts of Lancashire. The contract will run from 5 September 2007. The company is made up of three other organisations - Halcrow, Colas and Costain. The contract is worth £158m over the five-year period. |
