Aberdeen construction worker dies

Grampian police and the Health and Safety Executive are investigating the death of a worker on a site in Aberdeen.

The 63-year-old died in a scaffolding accident.

It is believed the man was renovating a block of flats on a site near Aberdeen train station. It is understood he fell as the scaffold collapsed at around 8am yesterday morning.

The man was taken to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary but died soon after arrival.
