Tuesday, 26 August 2008

Plans to replace the YMCA building in Bridgwater with a new £4m complex have been unveiled.

The complex will include a multi-use sports hall, a fitness studio, café, meeting rooms, climbing walls and sprung-floor activity rooms.

YMCA chiefs have submitted the proposals for potential funding from Myplace - a Big Lottery Fund administered Government youth programme.

If approval is given then building work should begin in March next year, taking around 12 months to complete.
