Wolseley joins building coalition

Wolseley has become an official supporter of the Get Britain Building campaign.Get Britain Building is spearheaded by the Builders’ Merchants Federation, the Modern Masonry Alliance, British Precast and the Federation of Master Builders, who are calling for the creation of a new business environment to help the UK construction industry thrive and prosper in the current economic climate.

Rob Marchbank, CEO Wolseley Europe and MD – Wolseley UK, said: “The unprecedented market conditions continue to be challenging and we fully support any campaign which provides a benefit to communities and the sector. We welcome the pledge by the Government to invest £1.5bn in the housing sector, and encourage the Government to ensure the investment materialises.
