Turner & Townsend has been appointed by Fife Council to provide cost management services for the £33m replacement programme of two of its leisure centres.
The Fife Sports Institute,Glenrothes will be replaced and redeveloped. When finished, the centre will include a new 25m, eight lane competition swimming pool and a health and fitness centre. The existing eight court sports hall will be refurbished and the full sized artificial pitch will be replaced with a sand dressed surface suitable for national league hockey. Meanwhile at Kirkcaldy an existing swimming pool will be replaced with a new build development which will include a 25m, six lane swimming pool and health and fitness centre. |
