| Thames Gateway plans approved |

Plans to develop retail and leisure facilities around Lakeside Shopping Centre in the Thames Gateway have been given the go-ahead. The Thurrock Thames Gateway Development Corporation (TTGDC) board has approved a masterplan for 1m sq ft of shops and 1.2m sq ft of leisure facilities to be built at Lakeside & West Thurrock.
The corporation was set up by the government in 2003 to secure the regeneration of Thurrock. |
