Contractor Rok has said that trading for the year to 31 December 2007 is expected to be in line with market expectations and significantly ahead of the group's results for 2006. The company says it has continued to extend its reach across the UK and has secured a further £780m of long term framework agreements in 2007 bringing the total to £1.7bn (2006: £1.4bn). These frameworks are principally in social housing, education and response maintenance providing excellent visibility of revenues. The confirmed order book currently stands at a record £590m (2006: £360m). The recent acquisitions of SOL Construction, Harrison Construction and Avonside Services Group are in the process of being integrated and all are performing in line with expectations. Rok will be announcing its preliminary results on 5 March 2008. |
