The existing BHS store in the town centre will be redeveloped to provide 80,000 sq ft of new retail floor space on two floors, with six unit entrances fronting onto The Parade.

Swindon Borough Council resolved to grant consent for the demolition of the Bhs store and the construction of a replacement store of 45,000 sq ft, together with six shop units.

Work is expected to start by January 2010 with completion by the end of the year.
