Development consultant RPS has bought US-based company GeoCet, which provides environmental advice to the oil and gas and other industries, for up to $2.3m in cash. The consultant has paid $1.15m at completion and said another $1.15m will be paid in two equal parts in 2009 and 2010. The business was purchased from the two founder directors both of whom have signed service agreements and will be remaining with RPS for at least two years. GeoCet, which will be integrated with RPS's existing energy business in the US, had revenues of $4.0m. |
