| Rok plc announces record profits |

Rok ‘ the nations local builder’ has revealed its seventh successive year of record results. Rok’s revenue in the six months to 30 June 2007, was £434m (+44% on last year). Its pre-tax profit for the same period was £11.2m (+75%). Operational highlights include its acquisitions, EMB Services and SOL Construction, intergrating well into the company. Stephen Pettit, chairman,Rok, said: “Harnessing the benefits of national scale with local delivery and utilising a growing direct labour force is producing excellent returns.” And on future prospects, he continued: “The potential to grow our UK market share with our successful operating model is significant. We are continuing to invest in our capability in order to achieve this and are confident that 2007 will be another year of strong progress.” |
