Detailed planning applications for the first two office buildings at the Wood Wharf scheme in London’s Docklands area have now been submitted to the London Borough of Tower Hamlets Council.

The 17.2 acre Wood Wharf scheme is a joint venture between developers British Waterways, Ballymore and the Canary Wharf Group.

The full scheme received outline permission last year.

The two office buildings are designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli and Kohn Pedersen Fox

The KPF building is 134m tall and will offer 84,000sq m of office space while the PCP tower stands at 194m.

The entire scheme will comprise six commercial buildings with 454,000 sq m of office space, 1,668 homes in six residential buildings, a waterside community park, a new health centre, an outdoor market, a high street with shops, restaurants and bars, a waterside hotel, canal, and pedestrian and cycle links.
