Property group Peel Holdings has submitted a planning application to Salford City Council for a £100m golf and leisure complex in the city. The 1,600 acre Salford Forest Park, near the Bridgewater Canal and M60 motorway, is to be redeveloped by Peel, and part of the £100m project is an 18-hole, par-72 course, a new clubhouse and practice ground. The scheme also includes a horseracing track, a hotel, equestrian centre and other leisure facilities. |
