Pamela Anderson plans to build an eco-friendly hotel in Abu Dhabi.

The former Baywatch star said she fell in love with the city during a trip there with the Make a Wish charity.

Speaking to contactmusic.com she said: “I’m building a hotel there. It is environmentally friendly. I went there with the Make a Wish foundation and met some great people there. The royal family was really friendly.

“[The hotel] is built with no fossil fuel at all – in Abu Dhabi where they have all that oil.”

In June Zabeel Properties unveiled details of a new landmark hotel and leisure development in Dubai with a team of design consultants for the project including the Hollywood actor Brad Pitt.
