BRITISH BUILDERS were credited for creating one of the world’s most sustainable structures,after Stonehenge made the shortlist for the Seven Wonders of the World this month.
The 5,000-yearold structure, which is still in use, has joined 20 other finalists to be visited on the New7Wonders World Tour. Rollo Maughfling, archdruid of Stonehenge, said: “Its builders understood how to live in harmony with the natural environment and today’s world has much to learn from Stonehenge." |
