Peel Holdings, the developer of a proposed £1bn scheme to generate tidal power on the Mersey has launched a search for consultants to help it gain planning consent.
The scheme is being put forward by Peel Energy a subsidiary of the group which owns the Trafford Centre and John Lennon Airport. Peel says Mersey tidal energy could provide power to supply up to 260,000 homes. |
