| Macdonald Estates to submit 12 planning applications |

Edinburgh based developer Macdonald Estates plans to submit 12 major planning applications across Scotland in 2009, with a value estimated at £280m.
A total of 700,000 sq ft of development land has been identified. The company's development sites are predominantly supermarket led and are located in: Ayr, Arbroath, Brechin, Dundee, Dumfries and Galloway, Fife, Glasgow, Gorebridge, Kirriemuir, Lochgelly, South Lanarkshire and West Lothian. The combined projects are expected to create over 3000 new jobs. Construction work is due to begin shortly. |
