Edge Hill University, Liverpool, has secured £30m funding to support its development plans in the next five years.
Barclays Bank will provide half of the total capital. A further £6m will be provided by the Higher Education Funding Council and the balance of £24m will be met by the university.
The funding allows the university to press ahead with its plans to double in size by 2020. The money will be invested in a range of major projects, including residential accommodation, a business school and a new sports and leisure centre. |
