Architect Stride Treglown has secured planning consent for a 710-bedroom hall of residence for the University of Liverpool.
The £45m nine-story project also includes a refectory, café-bar, retail and office space and is split over two blocks, on a brownfield city centre site. Stride Treglown said the new rooms were designed to achieve a Quality in Tourism 3-star rating which would benefit the university's conferencing business. The project is scheduled for completion in 2011. |
