Contractor Laing O'Rourke has led a consortium of firms which has bought concrete company Bison.
The price is undisclosed. Bison had appointed administrators PricewaterhouseCoopers and was expected to close. Around 400 jobs have been rescued. Factories in Swadlincote, Derbyshire and Uddingston in Scotland will now be managed by Laing O’Rourke as a result of the deal. |
