| Kier closes offices |

Kier Group has closed two offices in its housing division as a result of the economic downturn. Around 90 staff are expected to lose their jobs as a result of closing the Spalding and Lincoln offices. It is thought some employees may be redistributed to St Neots in Cambridgeshire where the contractor will move the management of its existing developments. |
