The contract covers the widening and signalisation of M20 Junction 9 and Drovers Roundabout as well as building a cable stay foot/cycle bridge over the M20 east of Junction 9.

Firms have until 18 December to submit pre-qualification questionnaires.

Six firms will be invited to tender on 11 January 2010.

Work is expected to start on 4 May 2010 and complete by the end of March 2011.
