Jury’s Inn is to spend £90m to open four new hotels across England and Scotland.
The hotel chain, owned by Quinlan Private and the Oman Investment Fund, has exchanged contracts to develop hotels in Glasgow, Newcastle. Portsmouth and Bradford totalling a total 830 rooms. Jury’s said the new hotels were the ‘launch pad’ for an accelerated growth strategy which is looking to benefit from a trend for business users to stay in cheaper hotels when they travel, and from British holidaymakers staying in the UK. McAleer & Rushe is the development partner on all the hotels, which will be operated on long term leases. |
