Administrators of  the collapsed Liverpool firm Greenberg Glass Contracts say 70 out of a workforce of 160 have been made redundant.

The company, part of the Greenberg Glass Group, was placed into administration on Tuesday morning.

The  firm supplies internal glazing to major commercial and retail developments around the UK.

Joint administrators David Whitehouse and Philip Duffy of MCR, have been appointed to manage its affairs.

A separate business, Greenberg Glass Emergency, which operates from Huddersfield, is not affected by the administration and continues to trade normally.
