The topping out of the latest phase of the Jasper Square development in Tunstall has taken place this week.

The scheme is due to deliver a 45,000 sq ft retail, health and fitness centre for JJB as well as a further 1,000 sq ft of retail.

Andrew Malley of Dransfield Properties said: “In any development it’s always something worth celebrating when the roof goes on and we are delighted to be marking this point in our scheme here in Tunstall.

The scheme is due to be completed later in autumn this year.

This development will eventually also include new state of the art facilities for Stoke Primary Care Trust as well as 240 car parking spaces.

Highway improvement works are also being completed as part of the scheme and a covered walkway was completed earlier this year in order to improve the pedestrian link between Jasper Square and the High Street.
