Friday, 15 August 2008

Liverpool based developer Iliad has submitted a planning application to build the All Saints building which will be the next step in its plans to regenerate Rotherham town centre.

The planned building will consist of two/three levels of office accommodation above prime retail space, creating almost 12,000 sq ft of retail/leisure space and 33,000 sq ft of office space.

Designed by Architects Falconer Chester Hall, the office spaces will offer panoramic views across Rotherham while the upper floor will also feature a terrace area that can be enjoyed by office workers.

The building is set to achieve an 'excellent' sustainable rating by BREEAM - which is the highest rating that can be awarded.

Subject to planning permission work will commence in early 2009.
