| Green light for Perthshire hydro scheme |

A hydro electric scheme in Perthshire has been approved by the Scottish Executive. The 1.4 Megawatt Innerhadden Burn scheme will be one mile from Kinloch Rannoch. It will be capable of powering around 1,000 homes. The executive also issued a statement encouraging companies to bring forward further hydro developments.       |
