Architects Pascall+Watson will design a two-storey extension to the existing terminal, along with internal improvements.

The plans also include a new departure lounge, an expanded passenger-security screening zone, improvements to the domestic baggage reclaim hall, and a remodelling of the airside immigration facilities.
