| Foster + Partners unveil Plymouth hospital design |

Plans for a new £50m hospital for Plymouth have gone on show as part of a special exhibition and briefing by international architects Foster + Partners. The proposed new centre of clinical excellence is being planned for land on the Plymouth International Medical and Technology Park, at Derriford. It will be one of the first of its kind nationally and the first building in Plymouth designed by Foster + Partners.
The hospital, which will be built on land owned by the South West of England Regional Development Agency (RDA), will offer world class surgical, diagnostic and treatment services, complementing existing health facilities in Plymouth and creating 250 jobs. |
