Exeter Airport prepares masterplan

Regional and City Airports (RCA)the owner of Exeter Airport is to submit the airport's new masterplan within the next few days.

The plan is expected to involve a significant increase in runway capacity and a new terminal building.

RCA purchased Exeter International Airport from Devon County Council for £60m on 5 January 2007.

The local planning authority, East Devon District Council will also oversee all future development and the airport masterplan will take into account the Environmental Issues.
