David McLean's housebuilding division has attracted 'good interest' from potential buyers, according to the administrators.
Accountancy firm Deloittes was appointed as administrator of the Deeside- based group last week. The groups main holdings company and subsidiaries David McLean Contractors, David McLean Developments and David McLean Homes all filed for administration. The group had a turnover of £160m and employed 320 workers. So far 134 redundancies have been announced with the closure of its contracting division - David McLean Contractors. The group is continuing to trade as a homes business while the administrator seeks a buyer. |
