Cyril Sweett joins Aim

Construction and property consultancy Cyril Sweett today joined the AIM market of London Stock Exchange.

The company raised £61m through the move.
 
Sweett placed 23,911,545 new and existing shares with institutional investors at 110p a share raising £26.3m (before expenses).
 
Commenting on the Group’s Admission to AIM, Francis Ives, chairman of Cyril Sweett, said:
 
"We are delighted with the Placing and Admission to AIM. We believe that the Group is well placed to contribute to the consolidation of the highly fragmented construction market. The money raised will provide us with the acquisition currency to make acquisitions both in the UK and internationally."
