Corus raises price of UK Structural Sections prices E-mail
Wednesday, 22 November 2006
Corus has raised prices for steel sections. Basic prices for UK Advance TM sections will rise by £30 a tonne, effective for dispatches after 31 December 2006.

The company said blamed market conditions as strong demand for structural sections across the UK for the rises. Corus added high raw material and energy costs are continuing to have a significant impact on steel producers.

Richard White, General Manager of sales and marketing said: “This move is supported by a healthy order intake and low stock levels in the UK market, with a similar situation evident in mainland Europe.”
